# Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Senior Analyst in Regulatory Accounting at our Corporate Office in Monroe, Louisiana. This position is responsible for performing cost modeling/accounting functions, financial analysis and support of the Finance-Regulatory organization with a primary emphasis on process mechanization. Specifically, this position designs and develops cost models and prepares and validates cost accounting studies and the cost allocations employed in the Company's regulatory cost accounting systems.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree required; emphasis in business or accounting preferred.
Five or more years of work experience with the Company or equivalent.
Modeling/mechanization experience in FOCUS, Web Focus, and/or Advanced Excel.
Adept at using a variety of Company accounting systems such as SAP, BW, CCDW.
Strong research and data analysis skills are required.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work in a non-structured team environment with short time frames and multiple projects.
Preferred:
Knowledge of telecom and FCC regulations and regulatory accounting; prior work experience in network facilities, operations or finance are highly desirable.
Working knowledge of the Company's products and services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
Specific tasks involved in performing the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
_Cost Accounting (CAAS/CARS) Production Processing_
Designs and develops cost models, coordinates / performs production processing interface duties and maintains system tables and documentation.
_Pole & Conduit Rates_ - gathers and analyzes input data; calculates and analyzes pole and conduit rates for all CTL/EQ/Q T-Cos; publishes billing rates, answers rate-related questions and performs special contract rate analysis requests.
_Regulatory Compliance Reporting_
Prepares, analyzes and files regulatory compliance reports used in monitoring regulated/deregulated operations and the assessment of regulatory fees.
