# Job Description
This position is for a Senior System Software Support Engineer with responsibilities for technical support of internally and externally utilized OSS Network applications.
Technical support includes a high level analysis of the operating system, database communication, network stability, application components, etc in an outage event.
The chosen individual will be part of a small team with rotating 24x7 pager coverage for the multiple production applications. Candidates need to be strong, independent performers and be able to work confidently in a fast paced environment.
The individual must be proficient with general operating system command structures for OS systems such as Windows Enterprise Server, Unix, and Linux.
The candidate must have high level OS file manageability concepts, inter-machine communication (ftp, port addressing etc.), file transfer facilities, low level process/service management, control execution of batch processes and general logging concepts.
The individual should have strong trouble shooting skills to independently perform analysis and support of complex midrange applications.
The candidate must demonstrate strong communication and multiplexing skills to clearly and concisely explain complex details to convened support teams.
The individual must demonstrate the ability to lead the work efforts for a team of both onshore and offshore resources.
This person must effectively manage proactive assigned change and project work.
# Job Requirements
Software development experience in Java, J2EE, Perl, Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP and Unix Shell Scripting languages, SQL a plus.
Experience with network systems and batch processing desired.
Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor''s degree or equivalent level of education and experience
2)10 plus years of IT work experience
3) Specific Skills:
Strong Unix and vi editor skills
Shell scripting
Windows Server 2003 and higher
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with Remedy IM and IR
Familiarity with various server technologies (DNS, SQL, MQ series, Tivoli/ADSM, Tibco, Veritas)
Desired Skills:
1) Experience with ARTIS, Sentry or similar performance monitoring tools
2) Project or Small Team Leadership Experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
