Facilities Manager Job Duties Reviews daily work assignments with superior to insure compliance with planned schedules. Develops work schedules and coordinates work assignments. Instructs lead equipment operators on any sketches, specifications, or special requirements pertaining to their assignments. Inspects job sites and work in progress for quality of workmanship, conformance of work orders, and observance of safety requirements. Keeps records of labor, materials, tools, and equipment utilized on job assignments. Supervises, trains, and evaluates assigned employees. Maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment. Provides technical assistance to employees on complex repair or maintenance jobs. Ensures all standard safety practices and procedures are followed. Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required. Responsible for properly procuring specialty maintenance services and systems, including specification development. Responsible for developing and implementing programs and processes to provide adequate inspection and monitoring of facility conditions to protect the Authoritys interests. Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring project management plans including specification development when required. May also perform Project Director duties for capital improvement projects as required Responsible for personnel development. Primary responsibility for one of the two major divisions of the department; Management of contracted services which includes but is not limited to; responsibility for the overall management of all outsourced maintenance contracts; responsibility for providing proper administration over the Authoritys tenant work permit program and key control functions; responsibility for instituting appropriate inspection; monitoring and other controls to ensure contract compliance of outsourced service contractors o Management of in-house trades personnel which includes but is not limited to; Responsibility for the preventive and corrective maintenance activities of all trades personnel; responsibility for managing utility expenses and developing energy management programs; responsibility for instituting appropriate inspection, monitoring and other controls to ensure compliance of maintenance programs and maintenance projects Job Requirements: Graduation from high school or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate. Five (5) years of experience in facilities management and/or maintenance, to include one (1) year of experience as a foreman or crew leader.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
