Foundation Specialist 1

The Foundation Specialist manages projects including fundraising events and campaigns for the SFMC Foundation. Experience - 1 years related experience (event planning, marketing) Education - Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Job Standards and Performance Expectations Administrative and Community Relations Assists the in the implementation of all Foundation fundraising campaigns and events. Develops positive relationships with Foundation partners, donors and prospects. Assists in overall Foundation fundraising campaigns and event timelines and budgets designed for individual campaigns and events. Represents Foundation overall in a professional and respectful manner, including presentation and speaking engagements. Maintains strong relationships with existing Foundation partners and assists in recruiting new partners with the goal of increasing fundraising on an annual basis. Assists in the recruitment, training and coordination of large groups of volunteers for Foundation events. Receives and processes foundation gifts and maintains appropriate thank you correspondence. Oversees maintenance of donor database to help ensure data integrity. Prepares reports from various software platforms. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
