Tuft Pediatric Dentistry Tuft Pediatric Dentistry Monroe, LA Monroe, LA Full-time Full-time From $15 an hour From $15 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Duties - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take and develop dental X-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns Skills - Dental receptionist skills, including appointment scheduling and managing patient flow - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, such as four-handed dentistry and instrument transfer - Experience with taking and developing dental X-rays - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry procedures and techniques - Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry - Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Experience with computer-assisted design (CAD) software for creating dental restorations - Knowledge of medical coding for billing purposes - Ability to take vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Note:
