Responsibilities:
o Coordinates assigned activities with program coordinators, program leads, and program directors. Provides assigned instructional and other support services for students. Provides leadership in developing, implementing, and maintaining curriculum and programs that respond to community needs, prepare students for success, and which meet the external requirements of licensing.o Assists in the implementation of the College's Strategic Plan in accordance with their provisions. Confers with and aids advice to the Vice Chancellor of Education and Student Services, and develops, prepares, and presents recommendations and reports as requested. Builds and manages the division budget consistent with LDCC policy and procedures.o Carry out overall day-to-day operational supervision of staff. Oversees the recruitment, hiring, supervision, training, motivation, and evaluation of all assigned program staff and faculty in cooperation with the Vice Chancellor of Education and Student Services. Evaluates established performance objectives and performance reviews and implements college personnel policies and procedures for assigned faculty and staff.o Participates in the development and expansion of course and program offerings for the Allied Health Division. Assists faculty in the acquisition of educational materials for the division. Increases and develops articulation agreements with four-year institutions with special emphasis on Allied Health related fields. Oversees the development of semester course offerings, schedules, and teaching assignments. Provides leadership in program and classroom assessment.o Oversight management of counsels, advises students, and staff; suggests appropriate courses of action; and coordinates grievances. Organizes appropriate resolution process for student, faculty, or staff complaints.o Participate in community activities and professional development. Motivates and encourages faculty to participate in professional development. Serves as an advocate for Allied Health faculty and programs.o Responsible for leadership, guidance, and overall effectiveness in all appropriate accreditation, institutional effectiveness, and professional development endeavors. Serves on Standing and Ad Hoc Committees as needed.o Demonstrates a strong commitment to diversity and works continually to enhance procedures focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and workforce development.o Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by Vice Chancellor of Education and Student Services.Required Education:
o Master's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or related Allied Health fieldo A thorough understanding and commitment to the mission and values of Louisiana Delta Community Collegeo Competence in oral and written communication skillso Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skillso A distinguished record of teaching, preferably in higher educationo Experience with accreditation boards for Allied Health programsPreferred Education:
o Minimum of seven years of experience in higher education, preferably within a community college setting.o Strong understanding of accreditation, compliance, budgeting, and curriculum development in allied health programs.o Proven track record of successfully working with industry partners and collaborating across divisions.o Experience working with a diverse faculty, staff and student body and an ability to promote a campus climate that supports Louisiana Delta Community College's and encourages equity and inclusion.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
