Nursing Professional Development Generalist Job Summary :
The Clinical Educator 2 designs and conducts educational programs for clinical staff.
Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for clinical personnel.
Relies on education, experience, professional training and judgment to accomplish responsibilities.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Works under minimal supervision.
May lead and direct the work of others.
Experience, Education, Training, Special Skills, and Licensure :
4 years RN experience Bachelor's Degree Nursing None Good oral & written Communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, organizational, time management, research & publication skills & public speaking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.

Education/Training Programs:
This will have been satisfactorily performed when- Multidisciplinary and nursing orientation is developed, facilitated and evaluated while promoting a positive work environment as evidenced by orientation evaluation scores that are scored at a minimum of 4 points or higher on a 5 point likert scale quarterly.
Education recommendations to the nursing orientation program are made according to the guidelines and criteria of St Francis Medical Center as needed.
Appropriate behavioral objectives, lesson plans, teaching tools, training schedules, testing methodology and evaluation tools are designed and recommended in order to ensure staff receive appropriate training as evidence by documentation of a complete and accurate teaching plan.
Adult Learning Principles, various teaching methodologies and appropriate resources are utilized in the development of educational programs at all times.

requirements of the American Nursing Credentialing Center(ANCC) and the Louisiana State Nurses Association are integrated into program development when appropriate.
Quality:
This will have been satisfactorily performed when- Develops, evaluates and revises educational programs based on current research and trends, evidence based practice and organizational needs annually.
Accurate and timely documentation of organizational education is maintained at all times.
Organizational data is tracked and trends identified to assess organizational needs and competency of staff through appropriate educational programs as needed.
Policies and procedures are developed immediately as needed to improve performance and operations of Patient Care Services.
Collaboration & Partnership:
This will have been satisfactorily performed when- The educational needs of the organization are appropriately assessed on an annual basis as evidenced by documentation.
Collaborates with organizational leadership to develop and facilitate educational programs that ensure staff competency and organizational results as evidenced by regulatory surveys.
Positive and effective communication with all departments within the organization is promoted and maintained as evidenced by rounding documentation and education reports.
Serves as an educational resource for staff and organizational leaders as evidenced by lack of complaints.
Schedule, orientation, education and site locations for students is effectively coordinated with faculty of contracted agencies/colleges regarding use of the clinical setting at all times.
Other Duties as Assigned:
This will have been satisfactorily performed when- Actively participates on performance improvement committees as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
