RN Medical Surgical
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical history- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans- Assist with case management and discharge planning- Perform basic life support procedures as neededRequirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Location - Minimum of X years of experience in a medical/surgical setting- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth- Knowledge of medical documentation and coding practices- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Experience in occupational health, physical examinations, or working with people with developmental disabilities is a plusWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Registered Nurses.
