The Maintenance Technician position conducts machine startup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on both mobile and production equipment within our plant.
Hydraulic, Mechanical, and Electrical Experience Preferred
Essential Functions:
Provides emergency / non-scheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of mobile and production machines.
Must provide common hand tools to perform required work.
Must Comply with all Environmental, Health, & Safety policies.
Must be able to pass a drug / alcohol test.
Work Environment:
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions associated with construction job sites.
including hot, cold, wet, dusty, and noisy conditions.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and be responsive utilizing hand radios.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
The employee must frequently lift and or move items over 50 pounds.
