Job description We are currently seeking a CNC Grinder Grinder: 2nd Shift -- Major accountabilities include layout, operating and adjusting machine operations on OD and ID grinder, CNC surface grinder, to construct, alter, repair, and finish a variety of close tolerance component parts
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform set-up, and operate with CNC Controls to include Siemens, Fanuc and conversational programming.
Responsible for using micrometers, comparators, dial indicators and other precision measuring instruments as needed.
Read and interpret prints, routings and layouts in metric.
Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) to perform measurements.
Ensure part conforms to standards and ability to make machine adjustments, as necessary. Strict adherence to documentation requirements.
Read and edit CNC programming.
Lift and position parts normally up to 25 pounds.
Participate and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Additional descriptionThis position is eligible for relocation benefits for a highly qualified candidate but requires a local contract.
