Position Summary
This posting is for a Regular Full Time opportunity with the CenturyLink Talent Acquisition Team.The selected candidate will provide complex support to the Talent Acquisition organization.
The Recruiting Coordinator will assist recruiters in all aspects of the end-to-end hiring process including but not limited to: preparing job offers, monitoring background checks, pre-screening applicants, confirming start dates with candidate, problem solving, identifying continuous process improvements.
Additional recruiting activities, special projects, other duties as assigned.
Participates in the coordination and implementation of cross-functional process improvement opportunities in a fast-paced environment
Randomly audit requisitions opened on a monthly basis for compliance.
Successfully builds rapport and establishes credibility with Managers, Recruiters and candidates. Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize work.
Frequent interaction with computer applications and systems, including the Kenexa - Applicant Tracking System, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), Internet Explorer, and Internet navigation.
Job Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.
Advanced skills in MS Office specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Demonstrated abilities to work cross-functionally to solve issues across organizations.
Proven project management skills.
Previous experience working in Human Resources or Recruiting.
General understanding of employment law. Previous recruiting/sourcing experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to perform a variety of complex clerical duties, including but not limited to reviewing, analyzing and reconciling data from multiple sources.
Preferred Qualifications
Typical relevant experience 2 - 5 years.
Experience with applicant tracking systems.
Internal knowledge of telecommunications industry, fundamental business concepts, telecom network operations and associated business strategies.
Demonstrated ability to improve processes that translate into shareholder value improvement.
Ability to work independently on assigned projects in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
Good customer service skills working with internal & external customers. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to source/find candidates from internet based recruiting sources.
Good communication skills and a can-do, flexible approach with a positive attitude.
