Patient Accounts Rep 1
Summary:
The Patient Accounts Rep 1 works with patients, co-workers and external agencies to ensure the prompt payment and/or reimbursement of patient charges. Job duties may also include organizing inpatient and outpatient claims for electronic or hard copy mail and forwards to appropriate third party payers. Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary. Follow up on patient accounts process. Relies on established guidelines to accomplish tasks. Works under close supervision.

2 years of related experience.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Training:
Medical Billing experience
Special Skills:
Good Clerical and Computer Skills
Licensure/Certification:
CPAT certification completed after one year of employment CPAT certification maintained
Employment Type: Full-time DAYS 80 per payroll
Schedule: DAYSEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
